Santiago Suárez Chaves is an attorney with a law degree from Pontifical Javeriana University in Colombia. With over four years of experience, he has advised and represented both Colombian and international companies across various legal forums, including international and domestic arbitrations, court proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution methods such as negotiations and disputes boards. Santiago’s expertise covers complex sectors like construction, infrastructure, concession agreements, energy, and oil & gas, operating on both national and international levels.

 

Santiago has successfully represented clients in numerous high-stakes arbitration cases under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), and the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB). Throughout his career, he has held significant positions at renowned law firms in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, where he has made contributions to dispute resolution strategies and client representation. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and licensed to practice law in Colombia.
